As AI and automation reshape workforces at breakneck speed, employers and industries bodies such as Jobs and Skills Australia consistently identify core human capabilities such as teamwork and adaptability as crucial to employability.
Despite this growing body of evidence, these capabilities are often mischaracterised as personality traits rather than practical skills that can be intentionally developed.
Positioned at the intersection of youth development, workforce participation and industry capability, it responds to the changing needs of employers and the modern workforce by building nine core work-readiness capabilities (agency, reflective practice, self-awareness, self-regulation, distress tolerance, curiosity, problem solving, adaptability and critical thinking) using structured experiential learning and mentoring.
